I started filming athletic events soon after I began my coaching career in 1979. I realized the importance of capturing the athletes in action for teaching purposes and from this grew a desire to create a video history for the young men and women that they can have for the rest of their lives and also to pass onto future generations. I have compiled a considerable amount of film which I have been digitizing and transferring to my YouTube Channel. I am still in the business of filming Cross-Country, Indoor, and Outdoor Track Meets for broadcast on my channel. The films listed on this site are both current events as well as vintage film from years gone by. This website is an attempt to allow easy access to the film , not only from my channel, but other athletic Youtube Channels around the Washington Metropolitan Area.
By organizing and categorizing the events into a format that is easily accessible, it is my ardent desire to expand the exciting world of DMV athletics.
